Certified Medical Assistant

Established and growing multi-specialty practice in central Maine seeks an experienced Medical Assistant to join its clinical team. Successful candidate should have at least two years of experience in a medical practice setting. Join us in making a meaningful impact on patient health and well-being.

As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will be integral to delivering high-quality patient care and administrative support within a medical setting. Additional job duties and expectations include, but are not limited to:

• Understanding of medical terminology and medical office workflow
• Room patients, obtain patient history and reason for seeking care
• Complete accurate documentation of patient visits
• Collect and label specimens
• Surgical assistance, suture removals, wound care
• Provides patient education on procedures, surgeries, pre and post op care
• Maintain clean work area, exam rooms, and maintain supplies
• Must have “can do / positive attitude” with willingness to assist in any area necessary and posses good critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• A positive attitude, good communication, and ability to work as a team member is essential.
