The Collaborative School has openings for Education Technician III/Behavior Health Professionals.
The Collaborative School specializes in the treatment and education of students in grades K-12 with mental health diagnoses, including mood disorders, complex trauma, autism, and attachment disorders. Staff at The Collaborative School receive cutting-edge professional development opportunities in innovative practices and approaches in mental health and education. Staff is encouraged to advance professionally in the fields of social work, psychology, and/or education through advancement opportunities, course reimbursement, and future internship placements.
Qualifications: The candidate must have a bachelor`s degree or a minimum of 90 credit hours. The candidate must also hold or be eligible for State of Maine Ed Tech III certification and have an interest in and ability to work effectively with children with emotional disabilities. Behavior Health Professional Certification is a plus; however, we supply training for BHP Certification if the candidate is not already BHP Certified.
