Transportation Director
MSAD 52 serving Greene, Leeds, and Turner, is seeking a Transportation Director to oversee the safe and efficient transportation of our students to and from school and school events. Beginning July 1, the director will supervise and support our transportation personnel, oversee the maintenance of our district vehicles, and work collaboratively with other district personnel to meet student needs.
Qualifications:
lSignificant management experience, preferably in a public-school transportation setting.
lDemonstrated communication, employee relations and leadership skills.
lProven strong supervisory skills and experience required.
lAbility to work with diverse groups of people including students, parents, school faculty, staff, and the public.
lKnowledge of State and Federal laws and reporting requirements relating to public school transportation operations.
lFamiliarity with vehicle, bus, and equipment repair and maintenance.
lHigh School Diploma.
lState of Maine Class B license with School and Passenger endorsements required.
lMaine State Law requires ALL school employees to be fingerprinted and pass a Criminal History Record Check (CHRC). A copy of your CHRC MUST be uploaded as part of your application to be considered.
