The Assistant Director of Nursing is a professional nursing position responsible for the oversight of nursing care services and corresponding administrative work. This position assists in the coordination of nursing personnel, nursing functions, and financial resources in order to provide the necessary care and services to attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being of all residents.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing is preferred
  • Must possess and maintain a valid and current registration by the Maine State Board of Nursing.
  • At least five years of progressive professional nursing experience with at least two years long-term care, clinical and charge experience.
  • Skilled nursing care and dementia care experience is desirable.
