Job Description
This is a 3/5ths teaching position. Candidates must have the ability to create and maintain positive relations with students, school personnel, parents, and citizens, and to collaborate with the appropriate stakeholders to maintain the high quality of services.

Plan for and teach general music within an elementary school progression.
Employ a variety of instructional strategies to ensure that students meet content standards and acquire essential skills and understanding of music.
Employ an assessment plan which informs instruction and assesses student skills in music.
Present the accomplishments of students through public and school-centered concerts shared with other performing sections.
Teaches a period of chorus as the Middle School.

Job Requirements
- Must have a minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree in K-12 Music Education and have or be eligible for a State of Maine Certification in Music (Endorsement 614). Must also have an approved Maine CHRC at time of hire.
- Bachelor degree preferred.
- Citizenship, residency or work visa required
