JOB GOAL/PRIMARY PURPOSE:
A Behavior Health Professional affirms the right of children with disabilities to have the opportunity to make choices for themselves and to exert a measure of control over their physical and social environment.
Quality standards include the following:
-utmost respect for persons with disabilities and their families in all interactions.
-provide implementation of curriuculum related to IEP goals
- Maintain accurate up-to-date daily progress notes and additional comments and reports in a timely manner.
-Provide supports and accommodations as dictated by a student’s Individualized Education Plan
-work collaboratively with all team members to ensure consistency and integrity in treatment approaches
-knowledge of developmental disabilities and treatment/support strategies.
-participate in the development & implementation of the Individual Education Plan.
-conduct all activities and interactions in a professional, caring manner.
-work in a cooperative and collaborative manner as a team member.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Hourly rate to be established by the Superintendent.
