Catholic Charities Maine in Portland has a Full-Time opening for a Grants Manager.

The Grants Manager is responsible for the activities and coordination of efforts for the agency and its 20+ programs and services regarding all grant funding opportunities. The Grants Manager will seek and create new relationships with granting organizations and foundations and be responsible for all grant and foundations applications and solicitations, and any subsequent reporting. In addition, this position will coordinate all United Way information, requirements, and presentations working with the programs to ensure all United Way requirements are met.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelors’ Degree with an emphasis in business, communications/or non-profit management/ or other relevant field.
  • Minimum three years of direct grant writing experience in non-profit settings.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and/or soliciting new sources of funding and/successful track record of grant awards won.
  • Demonstrated experience and management of United Way, grant and foundation writing.
  • Extensive knowledge of federal, state and local funding streams, timelines and process understanding that allows for regular and significant execution of proposals for large and small grants.
  • Must have a strong mastery of Microsoft Office, Adobe writer, presentation software, and ability to learn complex database systems.

Salary: $65,000 to $70,000 Annually. Starting salary contingent with education & experience.

Schedule: This is a Full-Time position with a Monday - Friday schedule, with most work to be performed during core business hours. Following successful completion of probationary period, up to 8 hours per week of remote work is possible.
