Position Summary

The Salesforce Solution Architect plays a key role in aligning the strategic goals and initiatives of the organization with key decisions regarding Salesforce solutions. This role analyzes the current state of business processes and technology to design and deliver the most appropriate solutions that best leverage the Salesforce platform. A Solution Architect maps key business requirements to Salesforce technical features and understands the scope, technical depth, and correct resources needed for the project. Salesforce Solution Architects guide digital transformation by aligning business and technology, defining the 'why and how' that drives solution success, selecting the right product features that maximize business value. The Salesforce Solution Architect will support and collaborate with the larger Salesforce Team on Salesforce initiatives and projects. The Solution Architect is responsible for overseeing the implementation of the project, ensuring it aligns to business requirements, leverages best practices, maximizes user-experience, and balances manageability, scalability, and security.

Job Description

Key Outcomes:

  • Translates strategic and tactical business goals, initiatives and requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage the Salesforce platform
  • Demonstrates independent judgment, and takes the lead role on enterprise level projects
  • Works closely with security and compliance teams and technicians to ensure Salesforce solutions meet MPHC data and access requirements
  • Works closely with Technical Architects on major integrations and solutions that require code level development
  • Responsible for overall data modeling design to ensure efficient and effective solutions meet or exceed business needs
  • Capable of performing advanced Salesforce Configuration, creating advanced process automation and installing third party applications as needed
  • Promotes Salesforce internally by giving presentations on Salesforce Applications, and future capabilities
  • Establishes and maintains trust and credibility with Senior Leadership with clear communications, setting realistic deliverables and achieving results
  • Stays well-informed of business operations and strategic goals in order to better serve Users on the Salesforce platform
  • Responsible for reviewing upcoming Salesforce releases and giving a release overview to the larger Salesforce team.

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience, required
  • 7+ years consulting or CRM implementation experience, required
  • Experience with an Agile methodology, required
  • Participation and completion of badges in Trailhead, required
  • Experience using Apex Data Loader, required
  • Participation in Salesforce User Groups and/or Conferences or continual learning expected
  • Experience with Person Accounts, Salesforce Government Cloud/Government Cloud Plus, Salesforce Shield a plus

Required License(s) and/or Certification(s):

  • Salesforce Administrator
  • One or more: Advanced Admin, Platform App Builder
  • Two or more: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud
  • Salesforce Certified Application Architect, Salesforce Certified Solution Architect preferred, but can be completed post hire
