• Maine certification in elementary guidance.
• Demonstrated ability to work with children to help them resolve educational challenges.
• Demonstrated ability to help children resolve academic and personal problems related to home, family relations, health, and emotional adjustments.
• Ability to provide in-service trainings for staff as appropriate.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders.
• Knowledge of research based strategies to help children regulate their behaviors.
• Experience teaching elementary students.
• Skills in conflict resolution.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Experience with 504 process preferred.
• Experience working with RTI behavior preferred.
