The Central Maine Healthcare Breast Care Center team is seeking a Mammography Tech to join our team!

This is a per diem position, with competitive pay and paid time off!

The Mammography Technologist performs screening and diagnostic mammographic procedures and is responsible for patient safety protocols. Functions as the first line interface with patients in the successful accomplishment of their total breast care.

Education and Experience:
1. High school graduate; BS degree preferred.
2. Graduation from an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology: either college affiliated or hospital trained.
3. Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (AART) in radiography and certified/board eligible in mammography
4. Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification required within one month of expiration.
5. Thorough understanding of anatomy, positioning.
