About the Role:
We seek a highly qualified Provider to join our School-Based Health Center at 291 Williams Road, Newport, ME 04953. As a School-Based Health Center Provider, you will be responsible for providing primary care services to students in the school setting. You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality care to our students. Your main goal will be to promote the health and well-being of our students and to provide them with the necessary tools to succeed in their academic and personal lives. This challenging and rewarding role requires a high level of dedication and commitment to the well-being of our students.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Valid medical license
- Board certification in Pediatrics or Family Medicine
- Experience working with children and adolescents
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a school-based health center
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Experience working with underserved populations
- Experience with electronic medical records
- Experience with telemedicine
