Child Protective Caseworkers

$32.35 – $42.34/hr.*

DHHS is looking for people committed to protecting the rights and well-being of children by providing professional social work and case management services for our clients throughout Androscoggin, Oxford and Franklin Counties. As a Child Protective Caseworker, you will develop investigative and case management skills and build extensive contacts within the judicial, law enforcement, educational, and social services communities. We have immediate vacancies in our Lewiston regional office.

To be considered for a Child Protective Caseworker position you must have a Bachelor’s Degree in a field related to social work/social services and be eligible for conditional licensure as a Licensed Social Worker. New grads and soon-to-be grads (August 2025) are encouraged to apply. We will be holding interviews every Wednesday in June and July in our Lewiston office for qualified candidates.
