Our client, the world’s leading independent end-to-end IT services company, is seeking a talented and motivated CATIA Programmer to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will play a key part in the development process, coding, testing, and debugging computer programs. You will assist in analyzing, designing, and writing specifications for basic programs, ensuring they meet the needs of their clients and end-users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coding and Development: Write, test, debug, implement, and document computer programs, ensuring they meet project requirements.
  • System Analysis: Gather information from the system, analyze program requirements, and prepare documentation for program modifications.
  • Program Design: Design new programs for projects or enhance existing ones, ensuring they align with project objectives.
  • Technical Documentation: Create detailed technical documentation, including program code, to support the development process.
  • Quality Assurance: Develop test plans to verify the logic of new or modified programs, identifying and resolving issues as needed.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with team members, support personnel, and clients, demonstrating excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated with industry technical trends and new developments, maintaining current skills and knowledge of industry standards.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Programming Skills: Proficiency in Web, VB.NET, SQL Server, Unix, Perl, and CAD (CATIA/AutoCAD/Shipconstructor) programming languages.
  • CAD/Catia Background: Prefer some background in CAD/Catia, but we are willing to train candidates with strong programming skills.
  • User Testing: Prefer experience in coordinating user testing.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for designing, creating, and testing programs.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, interacting with team members and clients.

Other Qualifications:

  • Basic Programming Skills: Solid foundation in basic programming concepts.
  • Software Proficiency: Good personal computer skills and proficiency in business solutions software.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively with team members, support personnel, and clients.
