Woodfords Family Services has an exciting opportunity to welcome casual/per-diem (12-15 hours per week) Behavioral Health Professionals (BHPs) in Corinth, ME!


Position Summary

BHPs provide hands-on, one-to-one support to children and teens with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities, and their families, in home and community-based settings. Services are offered through implementing individualized treatment plans that foster and promote skills related to behavior management & regulation, communication, self-care, and leisure with the goal of reaching the greatest level of independence.

Essential Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage and effectively modify interfering behaviors across multiple settings and environments (home, school, stores, park, etc.)
  • Complete and accurately document progress summaries of goals and daily objectives.
  • Travel and transport consumers to community activities as appropriate (personal vehicle required)

Here's what we're looking for:

Location: Old Town, ME, 12-15 hours per week

Flexible weekday afternoons, evenings, and weekends!

$20.00 - $22.00/hour - commensurate with experience.

$375 Sign-on Bonus!

Qualifications

  1. Must be at least 18 years of age.
  2. Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  3. Must have a valid State of Maine driver's license and personal vehicle with current proof of auto insurance.
  4. Must complete training and obtain certification as Behavioral Health Professional within 1 year of hire.

Previous experience encouraged, but NOT required!
