Director of Registration and Records<FP>B<FP>B
The Maine Community College System (MCCS) is seeking a full-time Director of Registration and Records (Director). This position is responsible for creation and maintenance of training record retention and dissemination of over 10,000 records, learner registration, course creation, and supports and maintains approved training funding records. The Director will work closely with the Director of Statewide Workforce Initiatives and Advancement and support industry associations, employers, educational institutions, and social service organizations collect and maintain compact member employee training records. This position will serve as the daily processor for funding requests and ensure data is accurately collected and entered into the Harold Alfond Foundation (HAF) Center training record system. The Director is responsible for responding to data record improvement opportunities, software updates, data security procedures and protecting personally identifiable data procedures.
The Director of Registration and Records position falls within the MEA Administrators bargaining unit, salary level 3. This is a 3-year, grant-funded position. The required minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree and 2-4 relevant experience of an administrative nature in academics and/or business, preferably in higher education or a public setting. Specific experience in working with a grant-funded program that supports economic or workforce development efforts desired.
The required knowledge, skills, and abilities include, but not limited to, the following: Grant management experience, workforce training or related program management experience, education and training instructional background.
