Library Media Assistant - Ed Tech III (High School)

Falmouth High School is seeking a dynamic and innovative individual to assist the Media and Technology integrator in the administration of the Library.
Duties:
Assist students and faculty in locating appropriate library materials for their classes, for research projects, resources online, computerized databases, and for using media center resources.
Assist the library media specialist in library skills instruction
Prepare, process, and receive orders
Process, catalog, shelve, file, circulate and duplicate library materials
Provide a conducive environment for self-directed learning
Provide professional development and support for classroom teachers
Collaborate with Classroom Teachers to implement technology and digital literacy instruction
Supervise use of photocopiers in the library
Demonstrate knowledge of audiovisual equipment operation
Schedule faculty/student use of audiovisual equipment and set up equipment for special events as required in the High School building
Perform other duties, including supervision of students, as delegated by the library media specialist or building administrator.
Qualifications:
Must be eligible for, or have, an applicable State of Maine DOE educational technician III certification.
Approved CRC (Criminal Records Check) and background check (will be run by the school department).
Wages and Benefits:
Pay will be based on relevant experience and DOE certification. Ed Tech III pay rate range is $24.54 - $30.85/hr, school-year position only. A generous benefits package includes the following:
