The City of Bangor Parks and Recreation Dept. (Bangor Municipal Golf Course) is hiring for the position of Pro Shop Associate. Ideal candidates are motivated, positive, familiar with the sport of golf, creative and team-oriented individuals. Pro Shop Associates are responsible for registering players, collecting membership and daily fee monies, answering the telephone and providing excellent customer service, booking tee times, preparing for golf outings, light cleaning in the clubhouse, assisting the Head Golf Professional with other similar tasks related to Golf Operations. Pro Shop Associate duties may change from day to day based on the activity of the golf course.
Pay & Benefit Highlight
This position is part-time with an anticipated hours per week of 20 – 35 on a temporary basis during the golfing season. Work schedules may change based on business needs. Part-time employees accrue Earned Paid Leave time. Compensation begins at $16.01 per hour. Must have some weekend availability.
