About us

Children's Odyssey provides a content rich environment in which children learn through their active participation in a variety of hands-on, multi-modal experiences and social opportunities. These fun and inviting activities allow children to reach across domains to develop new skills by building and expanding upon existing ones. Intentional and incidental teaching occurs in an appropriate mix of individual, small, and large group instructional and freeplay opportunities, both indoors and out, to reflect best practice. Teacher's knowledge, sensitivity, and responsiveness to children facilitates individual growth while fostering a sense of group belonging.

Toddler Teacher
We are in search of nurturing, creative, flexible individuals to join our dynamic and talented team in their dedication to providing excellent family centered infant & toddler care.

Seeking individuals with the desire and ability to work with toddlers of varying developmental levels in collaboration with co-teachers and families.

Requirements include:

  • Plan and implement enticing, multi-modal, and developmentally appropriate activities for individual, small, and large group presentations
  • Observe children and maintain safety
  • Communicate with parents and related professionals

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week, Monday - Friday

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Required)

 

Experience:

  • Childcare: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • CPR Certification (Preferred)
  • Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred)
