Camp Chewonki Summary
Camp Chewonki comprises Boys Camp, serving about 200 boys and nonbinary campers, and Girls Camp, serving about 160 girls and nonbinary campers. Camp Chewonki runs two three-week session overnight programs for campers grades four through eight and an introductory 11-day program for campers finishing second and third grades. Camp Chewonki is a program within the Chewonki Foundation focused on connecting children with the natural world, developing community, and facilitating self-discovery.
For more than a century, Camp Chewonki has welcomed hundreds of children and teens from across the country each summer to our breathtaking campus on Chewonki Neck. From sunlit afternoons at the waterfront to backcountry treks through pristine forests, every day is an invitation to discover, grow, and forge lasting friendships.
