On-site duties will include, but are not limited to: classroom collaboration, record review, group and individual therapy. Services shall be performed in accordance with the requirements of State and National accrediting and licensing bodies, and shall be consistent with sound and established principles of care. Provide in-service education trainings for staff members upon request. Participate in IEP meetings and ITT meetings (upon request). Provide progress reports every 90 days in line with Interdisciplinary Treatment Team process for inclusion in the student’s Treatment Plan one week prior to the student’s team meeting.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Associates degree from an accredited occupational therapy assistant program.
State of Maine License to practice as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.
Experience working with children ages 3-21 with a diagnosis of autism and/or other behavioral issues.
Agrees to keep current with research in the field; attaining the required number of annual CEUs.
Must pass all clearances as required by the Department of Education, DHHS & OCFS
JOB DUTIES:

Documentation of progress on IEPs quarterly. Therapy progress notes will be maintained in the student’s file.
