Extended School Year Program – Lead Teachers (Multiple Positions Available)

Falmouth Public Schools seeks dedicated and experienced Extended School Year (ESY) Lead Teachers to provide high-quality instruction during the ESY Program. Lead Teachers will be responsible for delivering specialized instruction to students with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) to support regression prevention and continued growth in academic, social, behavioral, functional skills, and medical needs. This role requires strong collaboration, flexibility, and the ability to implement targeted instructional plans that align with each student's IEP goals.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct instruction in accordance with students’ IEP goals and service hours.
Monitor student progress and collect data to inform instruction and IEP reporting.
Collaborate with educational technicians, therapists, and support staff to ensure cohesive and consistent delivery of services.
Create a safe, supportive, and engaging classroom environment that promotes student learning and positive behavior.
Maintain communication with families and case managers, providing updates as needed on student progress and participation.
Implement behavior support strategies as outlined in IEPs or behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
Dates/Times:
June 30 (All Staff Day)
July 1-August 7, Tues/Wed/Thurs
7:30 am-2:30 pm
Qualifications:
Ed Tech III certification with relevant experience or 282 Teacher of Students with Disabilities certification
Wage and Benefits:
Pay commensurate with experience. Benefits are not offered with this position.
