Geiger, the largest privately held promotional products distributor in the US, is seeking an energetic, dependable, team player to join our company as a Distribution Specialist II in our Lewiston, ME Fulfillment Center. This is not your average land distribution center, our fulfillment center is busy, but in a manageable size, where you will become a vital part of everyday operations.
Duties
- Pick, pack, and confirm orders
- Rapidly identify, sort, count, and pack items for storage
- Ensure accuracy of items picked to a work order
- Perform custom kitting projects as assigned
- Use computers and internal software to generate paperwork and communicate with colleagues
- Put away product
- Perform cycle counts and replenishments
- Operate walk behind jacks, Hyster and Order picker when necessary
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
- Serve as back up for Distribution Specialist I
Ability to lift up to 30lbs and stand/walk for extended periods of time. Must be able to work flexible shifts and overtime when needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
