York Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Wound Care- Inpatient Team!

Our Wound Care Center is currently seeking a Certified Wound and Ostomy Care Nurse (CWOCN). In this role the RN will provide consultation service for select York Hospital inpatients guided by national expanded scope of practice standards as well as time in our outpatient Wound Care Center facility.
Some essential functions include:
Perform an initial bedside assessment
Work in conjunction with the patient's primary care team
Provide wound care and management

Requirements: Registered Nurse with a current Maine license, minimum Baccalaureate degree. CWOCN is preferred but not required. Combination of medical surgical, home health, and wound care experience preferred. Maintains and demonstrates competency in BLS (Basic Life Support), infections control, safety and all unit required skill review.
