MSAD #17 (Oxford Hills School District) is looking for an accounts payable clerk. This is a 24 hour per week position. High school diploma or equivalent, Accounting courses beyond High School or work experience in accounting preferred. Expertise in accounting software is required.
The accounts payable clerk reports to the Business Office Manager and is responsible for:
- Receive and route invoices for processing.
- Produce/track purchase orders from computerized software.
- Prepare invoices and purchase order for the warrant.
- Generate Accounts Payable checks.
- Reconcile vendor statements.
- Process bank deposits for e-deposit to bank.
- Prepare and process Federal tax 1099 forms annually.
This is a year round position at 24 hours per week.
