Saco Schools have openings for Special Education Ed Tech I, II, III, and BHPs grades K-8. Our schools have a welcoming environment and a team-based approach. We are home to five school buildings, grades Pre-K - 8, serving more than 1900 students. Our campuses feature fields, trails, gardens, and play areas. Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting children of all abilities in a variety of settings or a willingness to develop this skill set
  • SafetyCare, BHP (Behavioral Health Professional), and weekly professional development trainings are part of the benefit package.
  • Willingness to learn new strategies and be flexible to meet the needs of our students
  • Ability to advocate as a member of our student provider teams.
  • Successful candidates must have a minimum of a High School Diploma or GED. State of Maine DOE educational technician I, II, or III certification desired, assistance is available for those not currently certified.
  • Approved MDOE CHRC (Criminal History Record Check) and background check is required
