Under the direction of a Manager or Senior Manager/Director, the Senior Consultant will develop and provide solutions for clients pursuing operational excellence and technical solutions. Help lead and shape the delivery resources following firm policies and procedures and focus on expanding technical solutions across Wipfli's footprint.

Responsibilities:

  • Proposes solutions or alternatives that are linked to Oracle NetSuite client business needs and proactively notifies the team leader of project timeline pressures and suggests solutions.
  • Architects and develops solutions based on client requirements and in-depth knowledge of standard applications.
  • Collects and analyzes relevant data, conducts client interviews, prepare workpapers and reports, and serve as lead subject matter expert
  • Communicates with clients on functional deliverables and work plan status and issues for both client and internal projects to Project Manager.
  • Organizes, establishes, and monitors progress on project work plans to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Monitors out-of-scope requests to ensure proper change management is communicated.
  • Trains, mentors and/or serves as performance coach to Consultant I’s and Consultant II’s. Delegates and leverages work to ensure staff development.
  • Actively participates with opportunity leaders or regional teams in business development activities as subject matter experts.
  • Leads and participates in research and development and foundational efforts to position the team to learn, develop and deliver innovative solutions to the market.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years’ experience in a professional services firm.
  • 5+ years of experience with Oracle NetSuite.
  • Experience working with revenue recognition, multi-book, and NetSuite planning & budgeting.
  • Experience working in the Manufacturing/Retail/Distribution, Technology, or Nonprofit.
  • Works towards obtaining additional appropriate advanced certifications.
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize of work under
    pressure, within budget and time deadlines.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while quickly responding to unexpected events or changing priorities.
  • Ability to work towards client management
  • Ability to support sales, marketing and cross selling through events, webinars, whitepapers, and knowledge of other Wipfli Consulting offerings.
  • Ability to get involved in projects aligned within industries of Interest and select an Industry of focus.
  • Excellent Written, Verbal and Presentation skills.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Visio.

Wipfli supports equal pay for equal work and values each candidate’s unique experiences and skill sets. The estimated pay range for this position is: $75,000 to $130,000. Compensation within the range is determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to, location, individuals' skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications, business needs and applicable employment laws.

Individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, subject to participation rules and based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual and Firm performance.
