Description Performs a variety of clerical and technical functions in support of the Records Management Department. This is a full-time position based in Bangor that provides both remote and on-site work options with a required minimum of four days per week in the office. The hybrid (remote/onsite) work option is available upon successful completion of initial training (approx. 90 days).

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Leadership:

  • Assists in research of complex customer complaints/issues as appropriate.

Operations/Process:

  • Sorts and meters bank’s outgoing mail and packages and accepts incoming deliveries in the receiving bay.
  • Receives and prepares daily courier bags for delivery.
  • Performs document scanning/indexing.
  • Delivers certificate of mailings and certified mail to Post Office on a daily basis. Must have dependable vehicle and license for this (reimbursed for driving with each paycheck).
  • Completes scanning/indexing/quality control tasks in a timely manner in accordance with established department metrics.
  • Receives, tracks and delivers loan documents to applicable business partners.
  • Receives and assigns account posting tickets to customer deposits and loan payments.
  • Performs other duties as assigned. All employees of Records Management are cross trained and know all functions of the position.
  • Scans invoices, monitors the Accounts Payable inbox and uploads invoices into AP software for processing.

KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • College and business or professional banking training preferred.
  • Exhibits professionalism in handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient with computer systems. Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • A high degree of analytical skills and the ability to handle complex problems.
  • Organized, sets priorities and meets deadlines.
  • Strong communications skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent customer service skills are required.
  • High level of attention to detail, emphasis on accuracy.
  • Strong multitasking skills, including the ability to remain highly accurate with the data while completing multiple simultaneous tasks.
  • Ability to work with little supervision.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS / CONDITIONS:

  • Moderate lifting (to 35 lbs.) required. In addition, moderate reaching, walking, sitting, and standing are required.
