NFI North is seeking an awake overnight residential counselor for our program in Lewiston, Maine. This program is a residential treatment program providing transitional services to seven homeless young adults within the Lewiston Area. This program will increase our ability to provide transitional housing as well as other essential services necessary for young adults who are participants of mental health services. This transitional housing option will be designed to provide residential housing as well as the support necessary to insure successful independent living for young adults who are participants of mental health services.

The supportive services found within the program will include Daily Living Support Services, Skills Development Services and Community Integration Services. This will be a start-up project meaning we will be establishing the culture, shaping the scope of work and developing a strong competent team to help support this important endeavor.

This young adult treatment program is seeking flexible, energetic, creative people who wish to assist people in developing independent living skills and strive to promote a sense of belonging for mental health consumers.

Bachelors or Associates degree in human services field preferred but not required. MHRT, CRMA and First Aid/CPR certifications are a plus.
