These positions are temporary to possible direct hire. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday, and every third Saturday. Hours vary from 10am - 6pm and 8:30am - 4:30pm.

We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician to work at our Augusta Pharmacy. The Pharmacy Technician provides technical support in our pharmacy department that includes preparing and distributing medications under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, maintaining drug inventory, and maintaining patient/resident records.

The typical schedule is Monday through Friday, and every third Saturday. Hours vary from 10am - 6pm and 8:30am - 4:30pm.

Pharmacy Technician Primary Responsibilities:

  • Procures and distributes medication orders per physician or pharmacist request
  • Fills orders, medication kits or trays, medication carts, or stock requisitions accurately
  • Maintains adequate stock of medications and supplies according to established policies and procedures
  • Enters medication orders into pharmacy computer system
  • Maintains logs, records, and other required documentation accurately
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Experience and Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Current Pharmacy Technician certification
  • One (1) year pharmacy technician experience preferred
  • Ability to communicate with tact and professionalism, both verbally and in writing
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
