Summary:
The Data Analyst assists in the planning and coordination of performance measurement efforts, including data collection, data mining, organizing and some interpreting. and maintaining data bases and preparing reports. Data Analyst will maintain API/payroll records for the community programs they support. The successful candidate will be organized, have the ability to plan, a high attention to detail, strong critical thinking and problem solving skills, the ability to communicate (verbal and written) to a variety of clinical, administrative, and support staff, as well as the capability to function independently and as part of a team. Perform any duties and/or responsibilities assigned by Manager or Supervisor for which qualified.
Responsibilities:
- Completes and manages billing for Community Care Services
- Maintains the VMS portal, performing audit of the VMS portal against the master client list
- Maintains Primary Care Provider list for Acadia Healthcare’s Memorandum of Understanding
- Updates the Mainecare Dashboard for reporting out statistics
- Process intercompany billing and pass through payments
- Gather data and evaluate accuracy
- Proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access)
- Assist in the maintenance of existing databases as needed
- Alert Director/Program Manager in advance to any barrier(s) to meeting deadline(s)
- Coordinate with employees assisting in data collection
- Collaborate with medical, counseling, case management, and administrative staff to ensure reports are accurate and meaningful
- Generate reports from a variety of internal and external data sources
- Be familiar with, and have the ability to, format data in various ways
- Create and/or maintain documentation and products in a shared network space
- Analyze data for trends, improvements, and areas of concern
- Provide analytical measurement on quality, performance, and research initiatives, as assigned.
- Compile, organize, and analyze data from multiple sources
- Contributes to the paperless filing pilot project
- Performs API functions in order to process payroll
- Assist in maintaining a work environment free from recognized hazards that create a risk of injury to employees, patients or visitors and that all accidents and incidents are reported by employees and properly investigated. When appropriate, assist with the return of all workers with work related injuries and illnesses to gainful employment.
- Participate in professional development.
- Utilization Management for School Based Services, Behavioral Health Home, Opioid Health Home and any additional Acadia Healthcare service line as requested.
- Evaluation of existing and development of efficient department processes.
- Identification and correction of inefficiencies within departmental processes.
- Mitigation of billing and authorization errors that result in lost revenue.
- Run analytic reports designed to maximize efficiency and efficacy of value based purchasing model
