Penquis, a social services agency serving Penobscot and Piscataquis counties for over 50 years, is currently seeking a full-time (40 hours per week; benefits eligible) Domestic Violence Intervention Program (DVIP) Coordinator. As the Domestic Violence Intervention Program (DVIP) Coordinator, you supervise staff provide group facilitation, and complete administrative tasks. This position is a hybrid/remote position, with in office days (Tuesday Bangor location, Thursday Dover Foxcroft location).

What is DVIP? Domestic Violence Intervention Program – DVIP is a 48-week certified program that helps males who have committed domestic violence address their abusive behaviors. Educational classes follow a standardized format to help participants confront abusive behavior and support a way of thinking and reacting that is free of power and control. The goal of DVIP is to improve victim safety.

The starting rate of pay for the Program Coordinator position is $21.67 per hour and additional compensation may be given consideration with relevant experience.
