Wound Healing Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Northern Light Mercy Hospital is seeking a full-time Wound Healing NP or PA to join its professional and supportive Wound and Hyperbaric Medicine practice in Portland, Maine. The right candidate will join a group of dedicated staff who collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of medical specialties including imaging and laboratory services, infectious disease, diabetes education, vascular specialists, podiatry, rheumatology, cardiology, and orthopedics.
The Wound Healing NP or PA will provide comprehensive treatment for acute and chronic wounds to our inpatient population. Services may include:
- Advanced wound dressing and compression therapy
- Bio-engineered tissue grafting
- Debridement
- Edema management
- Evaluation and treatment of circulation problems
- Infection management
- Ostomy management
- Casting
