Requirements
Education, Training, or Certifications:
- Ability to read and correctly interpret work assignments.
- Valid driver’s license may be required.
Experience:
- No experience required, but preferred.
Special Requirements:
- Ability to determine when to yield to medical professionals.
- Ability to withstand emotional pressures associated with the medical setting.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to be on feet most of the shift.
- Ability to lift, pull, push, stoop, and reach.
- Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 lbs.
- Adequate vision
- No significant allergy to dust or cleaning supplies
Environment:
- Must be able to work in the presence of other employees, patients, and visitors.
- May be exposed to hazardous waste and/or body fluids.
- Ability to work with floor strippers and other harsh chemical fumes.
- Ability to work outdoors in inclement weather.
- Ability to withstand equipment heat and noise.
