Are you a skilled technician with a passion for solving complex mechanical issues and providing top-notch customer service? ProSearch is seeking a Production Print Service Technician for an on-site role in Portland, ME, supporting a client company known for its high standards and commitment to excellence.

This contract-to-hire opportunity offers $30–35/hour and the chance to work with advanced production print equipment in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. The Production Print Service Technician is responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing complex copier and production print equipment at a client’s site in a timely, high quality, and cost-effective manner.

Based out of Portland, ME, Traveling to Saco, ME
Pay Rate: $30-35/hour
Contract-to-Hire

EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK

Standard work hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Hours may vary and include nights, weekends, and holidays.

TRAVEL

Frequent travel is required via automobile and includes travel to different client locations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve maintenance and repair issues on large volume (production print) and highly complex equipment at client’s locations within a designated territory using diagnostic tools, services aids, and product manuals.
  • Ensure a high level of client satisfaction by meeting clients’ needs in a courteous, timely, and cost-effective manner.
  • Manage and maintain accurate inventory for tools, parts, and supplies in vehicle stock; participate in triannual physical inventory and occasional spot checks.
  • Meet established metrics and benchmarks and comply with procedures and expectations as outlined in the Field Service Manual.
  • Complete technical training on all new equipment as assigned.
  • Maintain current technical knowledge and continuously work to expand knowledge of new technology and equipment.
  • Always represent in a professional manner by maintaining a professional appearance and adhering to the Copier Field Service dress code.
  • Maintain and comply with documentation and service procedures in a timely basis to include time entry process, dispatching, and closing service calls using Remote Tech.
  • Attend the required company and departmental meetings.
  • Act in accordance with policies and procedures as set forth in the Employee Handbook.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience

  • An associates degree and two years of relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Sharp, Canon, HP and/or Konica direct service experience preferred.
  • Valid Driver’s License, proof of personal insurance, and an acceptable driving record.
