Production Print Service Technician
is responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing complex copier and production print equipment at a client’s site in a timely, high quality, and cost-effective manner.

Based out of Portland, ME, Traveling to Saco, ME
Pay Rate: $30-35/hour
Contract-to-Hire
EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
Standard work hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Hours may vary and include nights, weekends, and holidays.
TRAVEL
Frequent travel is required via automobile
and includes travel to different client locations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve maintenance and repair issues on large volume (production print) and highly complex equipment at client’s locations within a designated territory using diagnostic tools, services aids, and product manuals.
Ensure a high level of client satisfaction by meeting clients’ needs in a courteous, timely, and cost-effective manner.
Manage and maintain accurate inventory for tools, parts, and supplies in vehicle stock; participate in triannual physical inventory and occasional spot checks.
Meet established metrics and benchmarks and comply with procedures and expectations as outlined in the Field Service Manual.
Complete technical training on all new equipment as assigned.
Maintain current technical knowledge and continuously work to expand knowledge of new technology and equipment.
Always represent in a professional manner by maintaining a professional appearance and adhering to the Copier Field Service dress code.
Maintain and comply with documentation and service procedures in a timely basis to include time entry process, dispatching, and closing service calls using Remote Tech.
Attend the required company and departmental meetings.
Act in accordance with policies and procedures as set forth in the Employee Handbook.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience
An associates degree and two years of relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Sharp, Canon, HP and/or Konica direct service experience preferred.
Valid Driver’s License, proof of personal insurance, and an acceptable driving record.
