Are you an experienced IT professional with a strong background in project management and technical infrastructure? Our client is seeking an Infrastructure Project Manager/Engineer to lead critical IT projects, drive technical excellence, and ensure smooth delivery of initiatives across a range of enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage IT infrastructure projects using Waterfall methodology, from initiation through closure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, execute, and deliver projects on time and within scope.
• Oversee network architecture upgrades, including LAN, WAN, VLANs, and IDF configurations.
• Coordinate server hardware upgrades, virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), and data center operations.
• Ensure compliance with security best practices by managing firewalls (e.g., Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Fortinet) and conducting vulnerability assessments.
• Identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and conduct impact assessments for proposed changes.
• Use tools like Microsoft Project and ServiceNow to manage workflows, timelines, and resources.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven experience in managing complex IT infrastructure projects.
• Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios).
• Familiarity with data center certifications and best practices for storage (SAN, NAS) and backup solutions.
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructures (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey technical concepts to stakeholders.
• Leadership skills to guide teams, resolve conflicts, and drive successful project outcomes.
