The Audit Operations Intern will learn about premium audit and billing functions at MEMIC.  The Intern will be exposed to all of the functions within the department from handling correspondence with internal and external business partners, to processing audits and handling account set ups.  They will assist the Audit Operations team with daily reports, and learn the life cycle of a Comp As You Go account at MEMIC.

  • Work directly with policyholders to help trouble shoot CAYG and Audit questions.
  • Monitors system reports, daily, weekly, monthly for both CAYG and Audit QA.
  • Processing Audits within Nexus.
  • Process Renewals and help manage CAYG cancellations.
  • Assists policyholders with determining the appropriate employee classification code as well as how to report payroll information to our Online system(s).

Requirements:

  • Must be pursing an Associate’s degree or above.
  • Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Must be able to work and succeed in a team-oriented environment.
  • Account basics and Insurance knowledge is a plus.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Strong interpersonal, and written and verbal communications skills are a must.
