General Responsibilities: Perform a variety of duties in support of all electronic banking products and services including but not limited online banking, ACH, wires and debit cards.  Answer questions and respond to requests with proper etiquette through email and telephone within established timelines. Assist other employees within the department as necessary to ensure all work is completed in a timely manner. Help build and maintain good working relationships within the department, and with branches and other bank departments. Support the bank’s overall goal to grow the BHBT brand by enhancing customer and employee experience. Display the five key behaviors that promote the BHBT brand: positive attitude, communication, teamwork, appreciation and building community.


Knowledge, Ability, and Skills Required:


  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Professional customer relations and communication skills.
  • Ability to receive and understand oral and written instructions.
  • Ability to analyze, interpret findings and results, and to draw logical conclusions in carrying out day-to-day assignments.
  • Flexibility to learn and keep current with changing procedures and regulations, varying job assignments, systems and new equipment.
  • Ability to work as a positive team member in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and to manage multiple assignments.
  • Working knowledge of Windows-based software programs is required.


Major Responsibilities:


  • Provide excellent customer service and assistance to internal and external customers in support of our remote deposit capture services, for both consumers and businesses, and assist customers with navigating and troubleshooting mobile banking services.


  • Perform account maintenance and provide assistance for all electronic banking products, as well as data entry for all accounts.


  • Assist with telephone banking PIN resets, account blocks, research, etc.


  • Assist our branches and customers with our merchant services offered through TSYS, take care of monthly reporting, and provide support to our Cash Management area regarding promotions and research.


  • Perform customer research as requested by branches and bank departments.


  • Process monthly invoices for third party vendors such as Elan, TSYS, Shoreline, NYCE, and Visa.


  • Work daily with the branches and process the NSF reports.


  • Assist branches and bank departments with electronic banking questions and issues.


Departmental Responsibilities:


  • Become knowledgeable in all aspects of online banking, mobile banking, telephone banking, and debit card processing to be able to cover during absences and vacations.


  • Assist with training and cross training of co-workers by sharing knowledge and information gained from training sessions and work experiences.


  • Be involved in projects, new product offerings, and conversion to new systems.


  • Maintain and update procedures as needed.


  • Identify, review and ensure compliance with the laws and regulations which affect assigned functional areas.
