ProSearch is hiring a Senior Salesforce Software Engineer for a confidential client. This fully remote contract opportunity supports a high-impact Salesforce Financial Services Cloud environment focused on enabling internal Sales teams through scalable, well-integrated Salesforce solutions.
This role is ideal for a senior-level Salesforce Developer / Salesforce Engineer who enjoys owning delivery, working across the full Salesforce stack, and improving system reliability over time.

What You’ll Do

As a Senior Salesforce Software Engineer, you will:

  • Design, build, and maintain custom solutions on the Salesforce Lightning platform

  • Develop clean, testable code using Apex, including legacy triggers, automations, and scheduled jobs

  • Build and enhance user experiences using Lightning Web Components (LWC) and the Lightning Design System

  • Support Salesforce integrations and APIs, including data movement from external systems and analytics platforms

  • Own Salesforce deployments and CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Gearset (or Copado, Flosum, or similar)

  • Improve system observability, including logging, metrics, and operational monitoring

  • Collaborate with product, sales, and engineering teams to align technical solutions with business goals

  • Participate in design and code reviews while driving high technical standards

  • Take ownership of work – navigating ambiguity, asking the right questions, and delivering with minimal oversight

Required Skills and Experience

  • Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Apex development

  • Deep knowledge of Lightning Web Components (LWC)

  • 5+ years of experience developing on the Salesforce Lightning platform

  • 5+ years of experience in web application development (JavaScript, HTML, CSS)

  • Experience building and supporting Salesforce integrations and backend APIs

  • Experience with Salesforce DevOps, CI/CD, and deployment automation

  • Familiarity with Salesforce metadata and release management best practices

  • Strong communication skills and a mindset of ownership and accountability

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Salesforce data management, including data quality, deduplication, and archival

  • Hands-on experience with Gearset, Copado, or Flosum

  • Knowledge of common Salesforce integration patterns

  • Salesforce certifications (preferred, not required), such as:

    • Salesforce Platform Developer I

    • Lightning Web Components Specialist (Trailhead Super Badge)
