Now, we’re thrilled to add a position of Peer Recovery Coach to our Recovery Services Center in Skowhegan.

We support individuals impacted by substance use, mental health, or co-occurring disorders—and their loved ones—through programming that fosters hope, healing, and connection.
As the Recovery Support Center Peer Recovery Coach, you’ll:
- Mentor, coach and support RSC participants in their chosen path to recovery and their unique wellness efforts
- Connect Recoverees with Recovery Support Services
What We’re Looking For:
- Lived experience with Substance Use Disorder and/or Co-Occurring Disorder, along with a commitment to multiple recovery pathways.
- High School Diploma or GED required; post-secondary training in a related field preferred.
- Recovery Coach registration/certification with the Maine Recovery Coach Certification Board (or ability to obtain within 6 months).
- CCAR training (Recovery Coach Academy + Ethical Considerations) required before working with participants.

KBH is an eligible employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) that provides workers with qualifying employment and loan payments federal student debt forgiveness after 10 years or 120 monthly payments.
