Available Shifts:

6:30am-3:00pm (1st shift)

2:30pm-11:00pm (2nd shift)

10:30pm-7:00am (3rd shift)

Pay Rates:

PSS/C.N.A ~$20/hour plus shift differentials*

2nd shift = $1/hour

3rd shift = $3/hour

Weekend = $1/hour

*Differentials can be stacked (e.g. 2nd shift on the weekend = $2/hour)

Job Types:

Full-time, Part-time

Position Requirements:

  • Active PSS or CNA certification in the State of Maine
  • High school education or equivalent
  • Experience with memory care and assisted living preferred
  • Ability to work rotating weekends and holidays
  • Ability to use nursing care equipment in an appropriate and safe manner
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Team approach philosophy

Position Responsibilities:

  • Assisting residents with performing Activities of Daily Living (e.g. Dressing, Bathing, Personal Hygiene etc.)
  • Documenting resident conditions and reporting changes
  • Making beds and ensuring tidiness of resident rooms
  • Anticipating and listening to needs, moods, and requests of residents
  • Remaining patient, pleasant, and calm while demonstrating compassion and respect for residents
  • Promoting and maintaining positive relationships with coworkers, residents, and visitors
  • Working collaboratively and problem solving with coworkers and supervisors
  • Maintaining strict confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA practices

Screening is done daily upon entry to the building. Masks are required at all times and are provided by the employer. Proof of full Covid-19 vaccination is required for hire, and testing may occur if the situation calls for it.
