In addition to our seven health care centers, MPHC administers two health insurance plans: Generations Advantage, a Medicare Advantage plan and the US Family Health Plan. The VP Finance will:

  • oversee the accounting function and manage operating expense analysis, financial forecasting and reporting, cash flow analysis, and investment planning
  • facilitate the development of company-wide financial planning and develop, direct and coordinate the MPHC financial planning process
  • manage risk with contracts as well as medical practice financial management
  • establish and implement effective internal controls to ensure protection of assets and coordinate external audits
  • monitor and report on MPHC financial position, examine company performance and make recommendations to the CFO and senior management which will result in improved results
  • protect the financial integrity of corporate expenses by developing and implementing investment strategy and establishing and executing policies for determining the care and custody of funds and assets
  • provide the leadership to ensure an engaged, high performing team, setting an example through behaviors and actions that align with MPHC culture and values


  • MBA or CPA required
  • 5 - 9 years of management and/or officer level experience in finance in the health care industry preferred
  • financial forecasting experience
  • experience with various contracting arrangements
  • delivery system and/or health plan experience
  • strong managerial and staff development skills, effective team leader and builder, mentor and coach
