Description

We are seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join our growing company and the BCOM Team.  This key support position assists the Director of Marketing with the implementation of marketing campaigns, ideas, and strategies for the Institute of Finance & Management (IOFM).  The marketing coordinator develops marketing materials, content and copy, manages projects, tracks and analyses campaigns, and ensures messages are consistent with the brand and compelling to prospective and existing customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute and track direct marketing campaigns to attract audiences to conferences, online products, and thought leadership assets
  • Support inbound marketing programs through increased visibility of online content, including social media sites, to drive traffic to event and product sites
  • Help create, edit and proofread compelling copy for websites, landing pages, brochures, emails, press releases, etc.
  • Ensure that brand attributes and strategic messaging are consistent across all communications, including email, print, social media and websites
  • Work with internal team members and freelancers to create a range of print and electronic marketing materials
  • Serve as primary liaison to the editorial teams and sales teams to compile educational content and sponsor information in time to meet print and other promotional deadlines
  • Help conference teams coordinate event shipments
  • Collaborate with team members to identify and leverage cross-promotional opportunities Ensure that marketing materials are delivered on deadline and are consistent with brand standards
  • Establish and maintain a consistent corporate and brand image throughout all product lines, promotional materials and marketing events.  

 

Knowledge: BA/BS degree in Marketing required, 2+ years of marketing experience

Skills:  Proficiency in MS Office Strong copywriting and editing skills Excellent oral and written communication skills; strong project management, planning and organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work with internal/external clients to execute strategic marketing campaigns and analyze performance Customer service oriented High interest in continuous learning and the ability to adapt quickly Experience with Magnet Mail or Wordpress, a plus

This position requires creative thinking and strong decision-making skills, as well as a willingness to work both independently and collaboratively to support the team’s overall success.
