As the Revenue Cycle Coordinator, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Direct the revenue cycle process, creating reports, analyzing data, identifying lost revenue, collecting payments, and implementing revenue cycle management (RCM) strategies to maximize revenue.
  • Manage and maintain the hospitals charge master, serving as the subject matter expert and first point of contact for all charge master related items.
  • Reviews policies, procedures, objectives, and organizational initiatives to optimize revenue.
  • Participates in contract negotiations with commercial payers.
  • Collaborates and facilitates across hospital revenue cycle departments, to improve processes, maintain compliance and ensure information is shared with all stakeholders.
  • Develops, documents and revises written policies and procedures related to the revenue cycle process.
  • Serves as a resource to Administration personnel that may have questions about the revenue cycle and acts as a liaison between both Riverview and Dorothea Dix Psychiatric Center and the DHHS Service Center.
  • Assists as necessary with audits, as well as other duties.

Minimum Qualifications:

An eight (8) year combination of education and experience comprised of a Master's Degree in Business Administration or closely related field and two (2) years of responsible experience in cost, cost/benefit, and financial analysis. Directly related experience may be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis.

Preferred applicants will have experience in the charge master process and/or revenue cycle management.
