The Town of Falmouth has an immediate opening for an Executive Assistant to the Town Manager. This position performs a wide variety of complex administrative and executive assistant tasks requiring initiative, independent judgement, and extensive working knowledge of Town organization and programs. Job duties include managing the day-to-day activities of the Town Manager’s office; creating and posting all Town Council agendas; taking minutes at Town Council meetings; processing all Freedom of Access Act requests; coordinating and managing special projects as assigned including new short-term rental licensing system; processing invoices; preparing and submitting bi-weekly payroll. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree and 5-10 years’ experience supporting Executive Administration. Applicants must demonstrate expert computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office. Previous municipal experience is desired, but not required. This full-time exempt position offers a competitive salary based on experience, with a starting rate of 60K.
