Shift: Day
Hours: 8:00am-4:30pm
This position will support Maine Coast Memorial Hospital in Ellsworth, ME and Blue Hill Memorial Hospital in Blue Hill, ME Position Summary: Participates as a member of the Provider Recruitment and Retention team to fill physician and allied health provider support new providers during the onboarding and credentialing process, and assist with provider retention. Education/Experience Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Human Resources, or related field OR associate's degree and four (4) years of experience in Marketing, Business, Human Resources or related field OR high school diploma/GED and eight (8 years of experience in Marketing, Business, Human Resources or related field required. • At least two (2) years work experience in a professional setting and in a role that included customer service and/or marketing responsibilities. Preferred Work Experience: • Prior work experience within the health care industry, physician recruiting, marketing or human resources Other Skills Required: • Excellent customer service skills • Ability to work effectively as part of a team • Outstanding oral and written communication skills • Exceptional organization and planning skills • Competent in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel • Ability to conduct extensive internet research • Manage databases • Ability to problem solve individually and to facilitate groups • Excellent coaching/counseling skills • Effective presentation skills • Knowledge of employment laws, HR policies and procedures • Effective leadership skills • Travel for business needs will be required Physical Requirements: Sitting at desk for extended periods using computer and phone, standing, stooping, reaching, bending, walking, stretching, lifting, climbing stairs Working Environment: primarily a fast-paced office setting. Will include interaction with the community, some early morning, evening, and weekend hours, and may require occasional overnight travel.
