Located a ½ mile from the Atlantic Ocean and 15 minutes from Portland, RSU 23 is a 700 student, three-school district seeking a Bus Aide to join our team. The successful candidate should possess the following:
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Citizenship, residency or work visa
• Maine Department of Education CHRC (Criminal History Record Check) https://www.maine.gov/doe/cert/fingerprinting

• Supervise students while on the bus
• Ensure all students are secure in their seatbelts/wheelchairs if applicable.
• Assist driver in maintaining good student conduct while on the bus
• Assure students get on and off the bus in a safe and good manner
• Is poised, disciplined and tactful while dealing with others.
