Now, we’re thrilled to announce a newly created position at our Skowhegan Recovery Center: Recovery Support Center Programming Coordinator.

As the Recovery Support Center Programming Coordinator, you’ll:

  • Coordinate and oversee Recovery Coaching Services (RCS).
  • Support Recovery Coaches through training, mentorship, and technical assistance.
  • Ensure the quality and consistency of recovery
  • Help build recovery capital, remove barriers, and connect recoverees to community resources.
  • Contribute to the growth, stability, and impact of our recovery programming .

What We’re Looking For:

  • Lived experience with Substance Use Disorder and/or Co-Occurring Disorder, along with a commitment to multiple recovery pathways.
  • High School Diploma or GED required; post-secondary training in a related field preferred.
  • Recovery Coach registration/certification with the Maine Recovery Coach Certification Board (or ability to obtain within 6 months).
  • CCAR training (Recovery Coach Academy + Ethical Considerations) required before working with participants.
  • Training in Intentional Peer Support is highly valued.

KBH is an eligible employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) that provides workers with qualifying employment and loan payments federal student debt forgiveness after 10 years or 120 monthly payments.
