Kennebec Behavioral Health, established in 1960 to provide comprehensive behavioral health services, named one of the Best Places to Work in Maine for the last 5 years and recently recognized as a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC), is seeking a Mobile Crisis Clinical Lead to join and support our expanding Mobile Crisis team in our Augusta Clinic. The position offers up to a $5,000 sign-on bonus.
As the Clinical Lead, you will provide clinical guidance and support our Mobile Crisis Response Team in delivering compassionate, effective, and timely responses to individuals in need. This position will play a key role in our program’s success through participation in our team-oriented approach to clinical consultation and supervision, quality assurance, staff development, short-term clinical interventions, direct engagement with individual in crisis and collaboration with community service providers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing clinical consultation and on-call support to crisis responders
- Reviewing and guiding clinical assessments and documentation
- Supporting 24/7 program operations alongside leadership
- Supporting and mentoring crisis team staff
- Helping to ensure compliance with program standards and expectations
- Partnering with community stakeholders for coordinated crisis care
What We’re Looking For
- Master’s degree in a social service field is required
- Licensed or conditionally licensed LCSW, LMSW or LCPC
- Minimum 1 year in a mental health setting (direct crisis-experience preferred)
- MHRT-CSP certification or ability to obtain within 90 days (training can be provided)
- A collaborative team player who thrives in multidisciplinary teamwork
