Equipment Planning Specialist
This is a consultative, leadership position responsible for the strategic sourcing and contracting of Fixture, Furniture and Equipment (FFE) for facility projects. The Equipment Planning Manager partners with project customers to identify needs & establish specifications related to the project FFE and develops and monitors the budget in conjunction with the Project Manager. Some regional travel will be required.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Knowledge of contemporary business practices acquired through graduation from a four year college/university or equivalent relevant business experience.
5-7 years of experience in purchasing, contracting, negotiation and sourcing required; Healthcare experience preferred. Relevant Professional certification (CMRP or CPM) preferred
Knowledge of methods used in the access and use of information including data analysis. Ability to prepare specifications and the analysis of bids and contracts. Microsoft Office Skills required.
Ability to source quality products & services; knowledge of market and pricing trends; ability to effectively bench mark total value.
Provide leadership in sourcing Fixtures, Furniture & Equipment in partnership with the Director of Contract Management & Procurement.
