General Purpose: 

Analyzes complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers. Identifies and interprets trends and patterns in data sets to locate influences. Constructs forecasts, recommendations and strategic/tactical plans based on business data and market knowledge. Creates specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs and required or available data elements. May provide consultation to users and lead cross-functional teams to address business issues. May directly produce data sets and reports for analysis using system reporting tools. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Extract and aggregate data from a variety of databases and systems
• Conduct detailed interpretation and analysis of the data; present findings and recommendations in a clear actionable manner
• Conduct ad-hoc reporting and analysis using various reporting tools i.e. Business Objects, Cognos, Crystal Reports
• Demonstrate analytical capability and critical thinking 
• Conduct data parsing via Excel, Notepad++ and other tools
• Understand how data is stored and joined in relational databases
• Utilize sampling statistics and configurations including random, representative samples
• Conduct regression analysis / structural equation modeling / key driver analysis, cluster analysis; discovery and understanding relationships between data
• Ability to explain the data and analysis in a way that makes sense to non-data people; present to senior leadership
• Maintain creativity and an open mind when it comes to data, asking “why”; demonstrate ability to dig into the data to uncover the root cause
• Verify requests thoroughly prior to extracting data across various sources
• Provide detailed analysis of the data; supply relevant analysis that supports solid recommendations
• Effectively merge data sets/tools 

• Broad knowledge of basic toolsets: Speech Analytics, Case Management, Voice tools (Avaya, Cisco); including email and workflows 
• Expertise in producing data analysis & using CRM to tell an experience story
• Ability to link customer data to business intelligence, business analytics and financial data
• Conduct basic statistical testing and analysis using relevant data
• Participate on projects supporting customer experience initiatives, employee process improvements and mitigating customer pain points 
• Use data and analysis to determine root cause, providing insights to improve customer experience  
• Support Customer Experience Team Vision and Strategic Pillars
• Create operational analysis, identify impact and recommend next steps 

• Create and maintain dashboards, presentations and reports
• Prepare materials for meetings, business cases and leadership presentations 
• Collaborate cross functionally including Customer Insights, Customer Support and Business Readiness



Minimum Required Qualifications for Consideration:

• Bachelor’s degree 

• Minimum of 2 years of related experience, advanced degree without experience, or equivalent work experience

• Intermediate analytical and technical software capabilities

• Advanced MS Excel, Access, and Oracle database experience

• Ability to build relationships and collaborate cross functionally 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Peoplesoft and/or Business Objects

• Basic statistical analysis and modeling experience with tools such as SAS

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Customer experience focus

• Project management experience

• Experience with SQL

• Knowledge with visualization software like Tableau

• Familiar with analysis like Conjoint Analysis and Discrete Choice

• Experience with process flows, Visio, presentation creation etc.

• Expertise with survey software tool – Qualtrics preferred

• Six Sigma, Green or Yellow Belt, continuous improvement experience a plus
